  PARTICIPATE IN A MOBILE CLINIC:

A Mobile Clinic is just that: a basic medical clinic that we bring directly to underserved communities. Students from any field of study may participate in a one- or two-week clinic trip in Cuzco, Peru; Lima, Peru; Kilimanjaro, Tanzania; Riobamba, Ecuador; or Tena, Ecuador.

As a volunteer, students will learn from local medical professionals, participate in a community development project, and have the opportunity to participate in various tourism activities.

  JOIN A CHAPTER:

Our chapters are student-based groups that represent and promote MEDLIFE at their schools and in their local communities. Student chapters make an impact by: organizing groups to participate in Mobile Clinics, raising awareness about global health inequity, hosting fundraisers for The MEDLIFE Project Fund, engaging in local community service, and hosting regional conferences, among other initiatives.

  BECOME A STUDENT LEADER:

Motivated students can take on a leadership role by starting a chapter at their school or running for a chapter officer position.

In addition, students may apply to join our Student Advisory Board, which oversees all of our MEDLIFE chapters and helps bring MEDLIFE to schools that do not currently have a chapter.

  MEDLIFE INTERNSHIPS:

MEDLIFE hosts summer and year-round interns in Lima, Peru.

Interns work closely with our field staff members on a variety of aid projects; they also assist with the management and promotion of MEDLIFE in the world.

In addition, MEDLIFE offers media internships to students with a background in communications who are interested in documenting and promoting our work.

Internships applications are closed.
