Women’s Health and Pediatric Health: In 2007, MEDLIFE is working with local organizations to help rural low income women gain access to women's health related treatments. These will include increasing education and access to papsmears and gynecological surgery. In addition, MEDLIFE will be accessing levels of pediatric nutrition to identify at risk children.

Dental Health: Currently MEDLIFE works to bring a dentist to Ecuador during its medical missions. In addition, MEDLIFE is working with a local dentist to provide dental health care to villages.

Special Needs: As needed MEDLIFE helps individuals with short term health care needs. For example, if a child needs surgery MEDLIFE will work with MEDVIDA (MEDLIFE in Ecuador), local professionals, local hospitals and other health related organizations to get the child surgery.
