For example, through the user profiles, medical brigade application or other applications on our Site, we collect personally identifiable information necessary to contact you with information about your medical brigade. We also may collect your financial information (like your credit card number and billing address) and your contact information (like your email address, phone number and shipping address).
Uses of your Information
Financial information that is collected is used to bill you for medical brigade that you apply to participate in. You may opt-out of receiving future mailings by emailing info@medlifeweb.org and requesting to be taken off our mailing list.
If you register for email or if you provide your email address to us, we will send you email updates regarding our work. These emails will inform you of our launch of new projects, patients we’ve helped, and other stories from our project locations.
Disclosures of Your Information
We do not disclose your personal information to other companies, persons or agencies, except for the purposes described below.
Sharing your information with our sister organizations, MEDVIDA Ecuador and MEDVIDA Peru during your participation in a medical brigade. Our staff will be waiting for you at the airport and will have this information we share with them in order to identify you, contact your family in the case of an emergency and prepare for your participation in one of our medical brigades.
