This year, MEDLIFE is offering individual students the opportunity to BE THE ONE to bring medical services to poor communities and individuals in Latin America.

MEDLIFE Team Leaders and current MEDLIFE members are eligible to receive discounts of up to 100% off a Mobile Clinic participation fee for their involvement in the campaign.  See the appropriate section below, and check out the complete rules and guidelines, for more information on how you can BE THE ONE.

What Can a Single Student Accomplish This School Year?

MEDLIFE Team Leaders, and the current MEDLIFE members who recommend them, have the opportunity to accomplish all of the above.

  • If you attend a 4-year institution which does not host an active MEDLIFE chapter, you are eligible to apply for the MEDLIFE Team Leader position. Apply by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it !

  • MEDLIFE Team Leaders are responsible for recruiting friends and fellow students from their school to participate in a MEDLIFE Mobile Clinic this year. As the Team Leader is the individual responsible for making the Clinic happen, he or she indeed holds a unique responsibility for the positive results brought about by that Clinic.

  • MEDLIFE Team Leaders will receive the following participation fee discounts based on the number of fellow students they recruit:

75% off the participation fee for recruiting at least 10 students.
100% off the participation fee for recruiting at least 15 students.
100% off the participation fee AND a flight reimbursement worth $400, for recruiting at least 20 students.

  • Current MEDLIFE members may take part in the BE THE ONE campaign by recommending their friends at other schools to apply for the Team Leader position. If any of the friends you recommend go on to become MEDLIFE Team Leaders, then you will be eligible for the discounts listed below:

25% off a Mobile Clinic participation fee if your friend recruits at least 10 participants.
75% off a Mobile Clinic participation fee if your friend recruits at least 15 participants.
100% off a Mobile Clinic participation fee if your friend recruits at least 20 participants.

NOTE: THERE IS NO LIMIT TO HOW MANY DISCOUNTS YOU CAN RECEIVE
IF YOU RECOMMEND MULTIPLE FRIENDS TO THE TEAM LEADER POSITION!

  • When you recommend a friend to become a MEDLIFE Team Leader, you are not just helping MEDLIFE reach hundreds of new patients through the resulting Mobile Clinic — you are helping MEDLIFE expand to a new university in the USA. This means that a share of everything that university accomplishes — more Mobile Clinics, more fundraising, and more MEDLIFE Fund development projects — are the result of your initial effort. Recommend your friends to MEDLIFE and BE THE ONE to help our operation grow to serve more communities and individuals than ever before.
