March 4-March 16: A team of medical professionals from southern New Hampshire and students from UMaine will travel to Riobamba, Ecuador. The focus of the mission will be internal medicine focusing on women's health.

The medical mission to Riobamba was a success. With the help of our medical team over 160 women had access to pap smears, some for the first time in their lives. Near 600 patients saw our volunteer doctors and dentist. To read more about the mission, visit Dr. Tranchemontagne's BLOG.

April 8-April 21: A surgical team will travel from Eastern Maine Medical Center and Dartmouth Medical School to Riobamba, Ecuador. The team's focus is OB/GYN surgeries. They hope to operate on 35-50 patients.

June 17-June 23: Professionals from southern New Hampshire and students from Dartmouth and UMaine will travel to Quito to work with the hospital Tierra Nueva. The focus of the mission will be internal medicine.

This mission was a success we had the opportunity to work with Tierra Nueva Hospital in Quito. We are making plans to be able to continue bringing missions to Quito, keep an eye out for upcoming missions!
