MEDLIFE Executive Board
The mission of the Executive Board is to help families achieve greater freedom from the constraints of poverty, empowering them to live healthier lives. The Executive Board oversees MEDLIFE’s operations domestically and abroad and is fiscally and operationally responsible for MEDLIFE’s budget, brigades, and continued patient care in Ecuador. The Executive Board also works with the student groups to organize medical brigades, fundraise, create a greater support for MEDLIFE, and develop student leadership. The most committed, humble, sincere, hard working, and experienced individuals are invited to sit on the Executive Board.

MEDLIFE Connection: I traveled to Ecuador with two brigades in March and June of 2008, after previously drafting fundraising letters and working to organize MEDLIFE’s donor database. The experience was incomparable to any previous travel or work that I’d done, and complemented so well the issues and ideas which I had previously studied in college and graduate school.
Future Plans: Work in the field(s) of development, sustainability and/or environmental conservation.
